Cicero shooting: 17-year-old shot, killed on South 59th Avenue in Cicero, officials say

A teen was shot and killed Thursday in Cicero, officials said.

The shooting happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of 59th in Cicero.

Police officers found a 17-year-old who had been shot, officials said. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The victim's identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made.

Cicero police continue to investigate.
